Frequently asked questions.
What is telehealth?
Telehealth is a way to receive mental health treatment from the comfort of your home. Studies have shown that telehealth can be as effective as in person treatment.
Who do you serve?
This is a women-only practice for the state of California, where my license is active. I work with women mainly in their perinatal, postpartum, motherhood stage. However, if you are a woman that wants to work through life changes and are not in the states above, please still reach out to see if this is a good fit.
How long are sessions?
The initial intake will be 60 minutes and the regular therapy sessions are 50 minutes.
Do you accept insurance?
Not at this time, but that could change later on. Right now all payments are self-pay, but I can provide you with a super-bill to provide your insurance for reimbursement.
Things you do not treat or do in your practice?
If you have significant suicidal ideation or have a history of significant self-harm and suicide attempts, this practice may not be the best support for you. You may need a local in person therapist to support and also have access to higher levels of care. I also do not work with significant alcohol and substance use disorders. I do not provide court documentation or letters unless they are just for attendance.
